Description
Use Sketch Kit to design drawings that come to life right in front of your eyes. Program Dash or Cue to draw figures, make abstract art and even write a message for a friend.
Step 1:Attach the belt under the robot by making sure it is secured tightly and securely.
Step 2: Attach the earpiece to the robot's right ear. Make sure the small triangular arrow points directly up and the robot's head is not tilted up or down. Press hard until it clicks into the robot's ear.
Step 3: Open the marker cap. Make sure you keep the cap somewhere safe. If you do not put the cap back on the marker when you are finished, the ink can dry for up to two hours.
Step 4: Place the marker in the specific place. When the marker is placed correctly it will click. If the plugin has distanced itself from the robot's body, do not forget to press it to the lower side of the robot.
Care for your sketch kit Do not forget to keep the marker cap and place it back on the marker after using it. If the marker is not covered, the ink can dry for about two hours.
After you have finished painting, wipe the whiteboard bed and the robot's wheels before the ink dries with a soft, damp cloth.
We recommend that you use dry tires, cloth or soft paper to clean the surface of the mat. Wet wipes can be used, but make sure the bed is dry before the robot starts painting to avoid ink stains.
Paint Tips The accuracy of your drawings may depend on several environmental factors. To get consistent results, make sure you do the following:
- Use duct tape or marker to make sure that your robot starts in the same place every time you run your program.
- Use low robot speeds when you draw. In Blockly the best results are at the speed . Very slow. In Cue the best results are at about 15 cm/s.
- Place the Wander whiteboard pad on the floor.
- Check the mat for bumps or debris on or below the surface of the mat before you start painting.
- Check and make sure that Sketch Kit's belt is attached tightly to your robot. Use the arrows and headset directions to check if it is properly aligned with your robot's ear. It may also be worth removing Sketch Kit and attach it back to the robot.
- Make sure you use the dry erasers for Wonder Workshop, which are delivered with the sketch kit or filling package. We cannot guarantee that Sketch Kit will draw correctly using other types of markers.
- Have only one or two robots that paint on the whiteboard carpet Wonder at once.
- Don't forget to document your artwork by taking pictures and videos before that.
