About Panda Cooperative
The story of the Panda Cooperative began in 1991, when two friends rented a garage and purchased a copier, investing in it their dreams for the future. They created the Panda company, which gradually became a leader in the field of stationery - then it was known as the Panda bookstore chain. In the following years, the founders were joined by their friends, forming the Panda Cooperative. Through the already successful company in Bulgaria, the Office 1 Superstore brand entered our country in 1998.

The Office 1 Superstore brand was created in the USA in 1989, and the first stores outside America were opened the same year in Spain. Today, it is an international franchise company, present in Bulgaria and France.
Office 1 in Bulgaria
The chain entered our country in 1998, when the Panda Cooperative received a master franchise for the territory of Bulgaria and in June of the same year opened the first store in Sofia. Gradually, the successful management and good results of the Bulgarian division became the reason why Office 1 Bulgaria played an increasingly key role in the management and development of the international chain.
On February 20, 2018, Panda Cooperative officially acquired all rights to the trademarks from the Office 1 portfolio. Thus, from a master franchisee for Bulgaria, Panda Cooperative became the sole owner and representative of the Office 1, Office 1 International and Office 1 e-shop brands for the entire world.

Office 1 today
Office 1 is the largest chain of office products stores in Bulgaria. For over 26 years, it has been the undisputed market leader and preferred partner of business clients in our country. Office 1 has a 40% market share, 62 stores in the country, and the Panda Cooperative provides employment to over 500 people. The product portfolio consists of over 110,000 products that can be purchased in stores, ordered online or by phone.
In 2018, Office 1 Logistics was officially opened – the most modern warehouse and logistics center in Southeastern Europe, with an area of 26,558 m2. The base is equipped with the Austrian automated storage and order processing system OSR, which is the only one of its kind in the industry for this region. The impressive 22-story structure has a processing capacity of 16,000 items. The system ensures increased productivity, minimizes errors to below 0.04% and allows the processing of 430 product lines per hour per workstation. The project is certified by the Bulgarian Investment Agency under the Ministry of Economy as a Class A investment.
