The orphan Mary Lennox and her sick cousin Colin live in the great dark castle of the Misoltwaite estate. The two children have everything, but they are fickle, lonely and unhappy. With the help of a peasant boy, as healthy and cheerful as nature itself, they discover the secret garden and its hidden wonders.
