The collection of notebooks, guest books, tapes, Nesseries and Planners of Paper Blancs honors the great art, history, music and science, highlighting their astonishment. They all look like old books and diaries. Thanks to some of the most advanced printing techniques, create the sense of great value and recreate the craftsmanship and materials of another era.
Art deco design was inspired by the impressive Sybil Pai (1879"1959), declared one of the best women craftsmen of her time. Samo science, Pai began to create his first works in early 1900, using naturally coloured leather. By 1934 she created complex covers with up to six different incruses and her work was regularly exposed. all over England and all over the world.
This particular design was designed to accommodate a collection of poems by William Wordsworth, illustrated by Pie's friend Thomas Sturge Moore.
With this series, Paper Blancs pay tribute to a woman pioneering in art and book designs.
