The red velvety sensation is worn by the design of this notebook by Paper Blancs, inspired by the 15th century dalmatica. The wide tunic with broad sleeves worn by British monarchs during ceremonies. These clothes were woven according to a special technology that made velvet even softer and turned it into the most luxurious fabrics during the Renaissance. a velvet panel, reproduced here, was given to the Metropolitan Museum, and was once owned by a Hungarian financier, collector and merchant of artwork. It is made of brocade gold-plated metal threads in a seven-ray shield, outlined with tears, botanical form similar to artichokes and small floral patterns.
