The collection of notebooks, guest books and planners of Paper Blancs honors the great art, history, music and science, highlighting their astonishment. They all look like old books and diaries. Thanks to some of the most advanced printing techniques, create the sense of great value and recreate the craftsmanship and materials from another era.
The design of the book ENIGMA is inspired by a cover which is allegedly designed by Le Gascon, legendary but unidentified bookmaker who lived in the 17th century. The original is made of red Moroccan leather, stamped and gilded with rosettes, spirals and dotted lines, as well as carved elements in the skin. to Jean Grolier as one of the most famous personalities in the history of book binding. These bindings are distinguished by gilded decorations and repeated patterns, surrounded by ribbons. It is not yet certain whether this design is his own, but even if it is not, then it is the work of another French master!
