The cover is inspired by jewelry bindings made in 1910 by masters Sangorski & Sutcliffe for the poetry of the great Persian poet Hafez. Three richly decorated peacocks, inlaid in eight colors, are adorned with golden finish and floral motives, and the entire cover is supplemented with pearls and 33 opals. The original is made of red and green skin morocco, with attention to every detail. The design is an ode of the art of luxury bookmaking and Oriental poetry.
