The Hunt-Lenox Globe collection is inspired by one of the oldest Earth globes Hunt-Lenox. This globe is unique in that it is one of the two known cases of a historical map in which the phrase "HC SVNT DRACONES" is used (in translation: Here there are dragons. The globe is currently kept in the rare books department of the New York Public Library.
