Official spelling dictionary of the Bulgarian language, Prosveta

With its nearly 90 000 dictionary units, a spelling dictionary in the Bulgarian language is the most complete so far.

The introductory parts of the dictionary contain the rules of the written language, presented as clearly, accessible and non-controversial as possible.
The dictionary registers the active vocabulary in today's literary Bulgarian language and contains considerably more words and forms than the current spelling dictionaries, editions of the Institute for Bulgarian Language.
After careful selection, many new words have been included in the last decade.
The spelling dictionary is made by a language team of the Institute for Bulgarian Language of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, which is authorized to study the changes in written practice and to bring unity to the spelling through systematic mapping.
The dictionary is intended for all for whom literacy is a mandatory condition for successful communication and good professional realization.
