Nowa Szkola Montessori counting rods, in box

The rich collection of study aids of Montessori includes development materials designed to work with children from 2 to 14 years of age. The red and blue bars show the numbers from 1 to 10.

Odd numbers are red and even numbers are blue.

It helps to illustrate the meaning of even and odd numbers, and also practice the carrying out of simple mathematical operations: collecting, subtraction, multiplication, division.
