The rich collection of study aids of Montessori includes development materials designed to work with children from 2 to 14 years of age. The set includes plates with digits from 1 to 9, which can slide under the frame of each box to form a number. I-a plate - forming numbers from 11 to 15; II-a plate - forming numbers from 16 to 19.
The work with the plates helps to develop and improve the ability to create numbers in the order of the second tens While playing, the child learns about the creation and marking of two-digit numbers and gets acquainted with the concepts: tens, units (tens and one equals eleven).
