Nowa Szkola Montessori board for subtraction

The rich collection of study aids of Montessori includes development materials designed to work with children from 2 to 14 years of age. The products allow children to acquire knowledge, competence, skills and experience through their own actions involving all senses. The study materials, including mathematical, botanical and Geographic maps are in classic shapes made of high quality wood. Some of them are made with plastic elements.

The set includes a board divided into square fields with blue lines, together the top edge of the board are printed numbers from 1 to 18. The numbers from 1 of 9 are blue and the numbers from 10 to 18 are red.

Through the center of the board, just after the number 9, a blue line passes, which divides it into two parts.

This kit also contains a box without a lid, containing 2 smaller sets of tiles in red and blue. They symbolize the numbers from 1 to 9. Red tiles are divided into units with vertical lines. The tiles on the right are marked with digits. The shortest is 1, and the longest - 10.

The other box contains gray tiles to create a menuend. The shortest gray tile symbolizes the number 1, and the longest - the number 17.

The board allows students to develop and improve their ability to subtract the numbers in the range from 1 to 18.
