Long ago, the good King of England passed away without leaving an heir to the throne. And then, in London, a miracle occurred. Under the handle of the sword were written the following words: Whoever pulls this sword out of this stone anvil will be rightfully King of England. Many tried, but no one could move it.
In time, the sword was forgotten. Without a king, the earth sank in the dark of the Middle Ages. People lived in fear of each other, and the strong pursued the weak.
