The fairy tales and fables in this book are retold to the smallest readers and listeners of the language.
At the end of each of them is drawn the basic lesson from the story told.
Very often the content of a fable, collected in a single sentence, becomes a proverb, so on the last page of the book children will find some of the best Bulgarian folk proverbs.
