A child swims in a basket in the middle of the river.
A wolf family accepts the little one as its own and baptizes Mowgli, but as soon as the boy turns ten years old, it becomes dangerous for him to live with the animals. The tiger Shir Khan wants to kill him because he fears the people, their guns and their fire.
So Mowgli takes it against his will to the village of men.
