Being a grandmother and grandfather today is very different from the popular idea, it's the litmotive of the book, because both times and people are different.
The grandparents today are middle-aged people dressed in T-shirts and sneakers who have the mission to link the new generation with traditional and timeless values.
It's their job to pamper, but it's also to raise the favorite grandkids, and they're also the people who have to leave behind the most vivid memories of childhood.
