Calcium chloride, for defrosting icy surfaces, 25 kg

Calcium chloride 94-98% is recommended for the fight against ice and compressed snow on asphalt and concrete surfaces which are designed and constructed for operation under winter conditions. The amount and action of melting depend on the ambient temperature, on the surface temperature, snow conditions, as well as on the thickness of ice or compressed snow. The granulated product may also be dissolved for further administration as a solution, a liquid anti-lede reagent for the prevention of ice in the presence of conditions for ice formation or as a solution for pre-moistening of salt used as an anti-bleacher.

Method of administration

For the prevention of pollen formation, it is necessary to spread the product on the treated surface evenly as follows:
       - at -4°C, 15 g/m2 of reagent;
       - at -8°C, 35 g/m2 of reagent;
       - at -12°C, 45 g/m2 of reagent;
       - at -16°C, 55 g/m2 of reagent;
       - at -20 °C, 65 g/m2 of reagent;

Before the start of processing the area with calcium chloride it is necessary to clean the surface of the fluffy snow.

Safety at work

It's not toxic and it's fire/explosion-safe.

It shows moderate irritation of the skin and mucous membranes. It is recommended to use gloves when handling.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children and domestic animals.

When properly stored, the shelf life is over 2 years.
