Gelsonlab Gyroscope model, demonstration

The model of the gyroscope demonstrates the preservation of the orientation of its axis of rotation when there are no moments of external forces. It also shows the reaction of the gyroscope to a non-zero moment of external force.

The device is made of a metal circle placed on a steel axis with horizontal winding holes, which serves to rotate the circle by pulling.

The axis has two adjustable cone roller bearings. In the kit there are two supports with support arms. One allows the gyroscope to rotate around the vertical axis, the other allows tilting.

The model consists of 4 parts:
       - gyroscope 10.7 x 10 x 17 cm;
       - 2 stands;
       - 60 cm string with handle.
