Description
This model in natural size shows the digestive tract of man from the oral cavity to the rectum.
The oral cavity, the pharynx and the first part of the esophagus are cut along the median sagittal plane.
The liver is shown together with the gallbladder and the pancreas is divided to reveal its internal characteristics.
The stomach is opened along the frontal plane: the dudenum, the blind intestine, part of the small intestine and the rectum are open to reveal their interior, the transverse colon is mobile.
The additional relief pattern of the head shows the anatomy of the mouth with salivary glands.
