The monochrome colors of black, white, sangin and squid are applied in the art classes in almost every art school. They give life and vitality to the drawings. It is an old method that dates from the Renaissance, we emphasize with white, and through the black we create light shadows. The Monochrome Pitt series of Faber-Castell reflect this long-standing tradition of drawing figures, which is why the crayons intended for sketching are harder than ordinary conventional crayons. For this reason the lines applied with these products do not disappear completely after their cleaning. Traditionally, the red and squid pastels are complemented by oilless and pencils on an oil basis for sketching and creating details.
