The Atlas contains 45 maps looking at the medieval history of Europe and Bulgaria.The study material is presented in 3 sections: Medieval Europe, V-XI century. Bulgaria until the early XI century; Medieval World, XII-XV century. Bulgarian State, XII-XIV century; Ottoman Empire and Bulgarian lands, XV-XVII century.Each of the sections ends with a chronology of the most important events in the given period.The maps are developed based on the latest historical research and data, and for easier orientation in the orography is used sencoreleff.The pages in the atlas are complemented by more than 100 medieval miniatures, engravings and pictures showing the historical events charted.
