The sun rose above the African savannah, warm and bright as it had risen since the beginning of the world. On that day his first morning rays lit up an extraordinary spectacle. Throughout the vast Lion Land, animals were moving in large herds, driven in one direction. Elephants went hard, antelope jumped high above the grass, giraffes carried in gallop. The leopards were shooting between them, the ants were marching in a column, while the huge flaming flocks were flapping their wings in the sky. They were all on their way to the Lion Rock to celebrate the birth of King Mufasa's son.
