"This book - says Karaliychev - contains Bulgarian folk tales collected from different parts of our homeland and processed by me. Some of them have been redacted and changed mainly, others have preserved their original storyline. I have sought everywhere to remove the weeds of the past: superstitions, prejudices and ferocious human beings images.'
