Bulgarian folk tales have been collected for a century and a half from the territory of Bulgaria. Until now, folkloreists have recorded and promulgated more than five thousand and five hundred versions. From this priceless wealth in this edition are selected the best examples of our fairy folklore. They are processed so that their language can be understandable to the youngest readers, but without losing its charm, soundness and picture imagery.
