Esop is a semi-legendary person. He's still honored in Antiquity as the creator of the fable. It's assumed he lived about 2,500 years ago. According to some, he was born in the district of Frigia, Asia Minor, and others in the city of Mesemvria, Thrace. He was a slave on Samos Island. Ancient authors describe his visits to the so-called Roman of Esop. Until today, about 400 fables have been preserved, processed or created by it.
Jean de La Fontaine (1621 He was born in the Champan region of France, where his father served as a forester. All his life, he's been patronized by rich patrons. He is the author of numerous literary works. In 1684 he became a member of the French Academy. Immortal glory brought him his fables published from 1668 to 1694.
