Description
One morning Darren's dad shows up with a doughnut with chocolate frosting and a confession that turns the boy's world upside down. Darren seems to go crazy and start doing things that no one expects of him -- dumps school and goes to his brother's house. After less than twenty-four hours at Nate's college, things aren't the same -- are they? The only thing that's certain is that no member of his family is the same anymore, and on top of that, he's obsessed with a strange girl who shows up out of the blue and then disappears without a trace.
Spoken in a very original way, Hasak Lowy's novel very accurately captures why trying to understand someone, including yourself, is:
1. Painful
2. Inevitably
3. Ridiculously complicated
4. Probably the right decision after all.
A funny story about a boy's impulsive journey after the most shocking discovery of his life!
Explosive originality!
