Nowa Szkola Montessori Triangles, constructive

The rich collection of study aids of Montessori includes development materials designed to work with children from 2 to 14 years of age. The products allow children to acquire knowledge, competence, skills and experience through their own actions involving all senses. The study materials, including mathematical, botanical and Geographic maps are in classic shapes made of high quality wood. Some of them are made with plastic elements.

Four boxes containing triangles to construct with correct and irregular flat shapes and patterns. The triangles must be arranged on the basis of their color or black lines on their sides.

The box in the shape of a triangle contains elements that, when assembled according to the rules, form triangles: 1 gray and whole, green with 2 triangles, yellow with 3 triangles and red with 4 triangles.

The box shaped like a large hexagon contains the parts of which consist of the right polygons: a yellow hexagon consisting of 1 whole, a yellow hexagon composed of 4 triangles, a gray parallelogram of 2 triangles, a red rhombus of 2 triangles.

The box in the shape of a smaller hexagon contains elements using which it is possible to arrange correct polygons: 1 yellow triangle of 1 whole, 3 red rhombus consisting of 6 triangles, 1 green isosceles trapezoid composed of 3 triangles and 1 gray hexagon composed of 6 triangles. Two sets of triangles are placed in rectangular box.

One set consists of yellow, gray, green and red triangles that form the right quadrilaterals: 1 green square, 1 gray rectangle, 1 red trapezoid, 1 yellow rhombus, 1 green and 2 yellow parallelogram. Each quadrilateral is composed of two triangles.

The second set consists of blue triangles without black outlines. These triangles form quadrilaterals, each of which consists of 2 triangles: 1 square 1 rectangle, 1 rhombus and 1 isosceles trapezoid.

The child absorbs the foundations of geometry, develops and improves his ability to construct and name different geometric figures. This activity allows students to discover that triangles can form correct or incorrect figures and patterns.
